What is eQuote?
NSW Government buyers use eQuote to issue, manage and award requests for quotes (RFQ) from suppliers on prequalification schemes and panel arrangements.
To publish an RFQ, buyers select a prequalification scheme, set the job details and select relevant suppliers. Suppliers receive a notification and can then lodge a response online. Buyers can review responses and manage the award, including publishing the award on eTendering.
Buyers can also use eQuote to create, configure and manage their agency's own scheme, subject to appropriate strategic analysis to determine the level of risk and complexity. Government approvals will be required by way of Director-General and/or Procurement Leadership Group concurrence.
